Born and raised in the cultural heart of Tamil Nadu, Pooja Selvam always stood out—not just for her intellect, but for her energy, confidence, and drive to create something meaningful. A native of Chennai, she pursued her Bachelor of Engineering at the prestigious MIT, Anna University.

🎓 From Engineering to Entrepreneurship

While most of her peers were preparing for a corporate career, Pooja’s heart leaned towards creativity and communication. During her college years, she began helping friends organize  events and discovered her flair for event planning and brand aesthetics. Post-graduation, rather than taking the conventional path, she launched her own venture focusing on event management and digital marketing.

With social media rapidly evolving, Pooja collaborated with brands, and carved a niche for herself as a Chennai-based influencer who brought authenticity and elegance to everything she touched.

👑 Pageant Dreams and Reality

Pooja’s journey into the world of pageantry was fueled by her desire to empower young women and break stereotypes. She auditioned for several local and state-level beauty contests—not just to win crowns, but to gain a platform. Through grit and preparation, she began winning hearts and accolades.

Her breakthrough came when she was selected for a well-recognized South Indian pageant, where she was praised for her poise, speaking skills, and stage presence. Though she didn’t win the main title, she won the spotlight by winning the title Miss Ravishing South India.
